Challenge the rules and try to break them. Just because things have always been done in a certain way does not mean that there are no better ways of doing them. In fact, many true and successful entrepreneurs have prospered by doing things differently. Creative thinkers get their original ideas when they challenge and reverse the obvious. Apple Computer founders, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak revolutionized the computer industry when they reverse almost everything that IBM did and almost destroyed the computer giant. As a result of their efforts, computers became affordable to the public. Dr. Edward Jenner discovered smallpox vaccine when he studied the dairymaids who did not get infected with smallpox rather than examining people who had the disease. Henry Ford invented the assembly line when he challenged the assumption that people have to move to their place of work. Instead he introduced the system of conveyor belts which brought work to the people. Thus began the era of mass production.
